                           Meetings                meetings

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month (but not during August) at 7.30 pm in St Paul's Church hall, Belford Road, Harrogate (see map below).

For a detailed list of lecturers and dates of our meetings please refer to our Programme of Events on your left.

Entrance is free to members and £1 to guests.

Some back-dated reports can been seen through the links above for your enjoyment - these reports are rotated on a monthly basis.

The report dated May 2006 is written on the lecture given by Dr and Mrs Boud entitled 'With Haversack, Gasmask and Label - Child Evacuation in Wartime'.

September 2006 report is about Alice Collier's story - a girl, orphaned early in life, who is sent to the workhouse in Ripon,

There is ample opportunity to ask questions after each lecture and swap information with other members.

A raffle is held each month and tea and biscuits can be enjoyed by all.

Come along and make new friends or renew old acquaintances, loan a book from our library or find an answer to your research question.
