Eugene Aram was a Knaresborough schoolmaster who was convicted of murder and hanged at The Knavesmire on 6th August 1759...but was he guilty?

This talk will present the story leading up to the hanging. You can be a juror and decide whether you think Aram committed the murder.

Speaker Alex De Gier

Alex De Gier is a member of H&D FHS and of Knaresborough History Society. He is retired, lives in Knaresborough and spends time researching both family and local general history.
